Rebecca Spring

Rebecca Spring

Board Member and Grant Writer for Project Headspace and Timing (PHAT). She has extensive professional experience in case management and housing navigation, currently serving Veterans through Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans in partnership with the Hines VA HUD-VASH program. Her work focuses on helping Veterans access stable housing and critical supportive services, particularly those facing housing instability or crisis.

Rebecca brings both professional expertise and lived experience to the Board. She is an Army Combat Veteran, serving in Operation Enduring Freedom, and the wife of an Army combat Veteran, Andrew, who retired in 2025 after 23 years in the Infantry. After separating from the military herself, Rebecca continued to serve active duty service members and their families during her husband’s career. She is a devoted mother to two children, ages 13 and 15. Her family’s shared connection to military service deepens her understanding of the challenges Veterans and their families face during and after transition to civilian life.

An avid reader who enjoys hiking and biking, Rebecca values balance and resilience both personally and professionally. She is deeply passionate about serving Veterans of all eras and is committed to advancing PHAT’s mission through strong governance, strategic grant development, and Veteran-centered advocacy.
